Text Block

The Text Block enables you to add rich textual content to your design system documentation. This block supports various formatting options, allowing you to create detailed and informative text sections that enhance the overall content of your documentation.

Accessing the floating menu

To access the floating menu, highlight a piece of text. The floating menu offers a variety of formatting options to enhance your text:

Text Style

Choose a style from the dropdown to apply to your text.

Text Align
Align your text to the left, right, or center.

Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, Underline
Apply these respective styles to your text.

Block Quote
Apply block quote styling to emphasize a section of text.

Code
Wrap the selected text in a code block for clear distinction.

Add Link
Opens the “Edit Link” modal, allowing you to link to a document page or an external URL.

Clear Formatting
Reset all applied formatting, returning the text to its default style.
